Welcome to my art!

Colourful Donkey

Colourful Donkey, 2015.

'Colourful Donkey' was my final piece for GCSE Applied Art. The bright colours aimed to challenge negative connotations of donkeys, and portray a donkey in a positive light. By conveying an image of a donkey full of colour, I wanted to give the viewer a glimpse of a donkey who has surpassed any neglect and abuse; a fate I wish for all donkeys worldwide. See The Donkey Sanctuary to find out more.

Colourful Tuppence

Colourful Tuppence, 2021.

'Colourful Tuppence' depicts my cat, Tuppence. She passed away (aged 17!) two days before my final exam at Oxford. Although she was a black cat, I chose to use bright colours so that I think of the happy and funny cat she was each time I look at the piece. :) This image of her reminds me of her sitting on the floor beside the sofa, longing to be picked up for a cuddle. (She lost her ability to jump very young, and so to get onto the sofa she'd either need to be picked up or use her little stairs that we made for her.)

Can you use my artwork?
